Simulation of scouring ice keel on clay layer, performed at 5-10-2004
Aim: how large is soil deformation below keel.
Conditions: Half 3D test at 100g, more or less undrained
Ice keel: width = 60mm (simulating 12 m prototype)
Scouring depth: 10 mm (is 1 m prototype)
Speed: 4mm/min
Clay: Cu=25kPa


Initial stage and the deformation in steady state conditions. Grid size = 5mm


Load displacement diagram during test. For real loads multiply with 20000
