Bachelor in Geo-Engineering

The Geo-Engineering Section hosts a number of courses in the two BSc programmes offered by the Faculty of Civil Engineering & Geosciences: the BSc in Applied Earth Sciences and the BSc in Civil Engineering.

Bachelor programme

The Geo-Engineering Section offers the following courses in the BSc:

BSc Specialisation in Geo-Engineering

In the third year of the BSc programme, students are required to select so-called specialisation courses. Students wishing to graduate in Geo-Engineering should select the following courses:CT3300 Use of Underground Space, CT3325 Mechanics and Transport by Flow in Poreus Media and TA3750 Geology for engineers.

Students who wish to join the Masters programme in Geo-Engineering are recommended to follow CT3360 Subsurface Management as well.Students who do not select these courses as part of their BSc programme are required to select these courses as part of their 20 ECTS "free choice" courses during their Masters programme.
